The Leon Mercer Jordan Campus has won several awards since its completion. The dedication and commitment of the project team and the innovation and excellence of the project have been recognized by the following:

  • Urban Land Institute:
    ULI Kansas City’s Developments of Distinction Awards Program (2017) that is the preeminent real estate awards program in the Kansas City metro area. ULI Kansas City’s Developments of Distinction Awards are an opportunity to recognize and celebrate projects and people in Kansas City that exemplify ULI’s mission: to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide. The Awards seek to recognize completed regional projects that demonstrate exceptional achievement of best practices in development. Each award is presented to the development project, in this case, with the City of Kansas City, Missouri as the developer accepting on behalf of the project. 

  • Kansas City Business Journal:
    Capstone Award (for “Community Impact”) that recognizes outstanding real estate and development projects. The developers, brokers, architects, contractors, financiers and others instrumental in bringing the project to fruition were honored at an award luncheon Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Sheraton Overland Park.
  • brick-by-brick-1Kansas City Industrial Council:
    Brick-by-Brick Award that recognizes individuals and companies that have made outstanding contributions to the economic strength of Kansas City’s industrial areas. The award was given at an awards reception on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Da Vinci Exhibit at Union Station.
  • The Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri: 
    Cornerstone Award (one of 10 winners) recognizing companies and organizations that contribute to the growth of Kansas City’s economy, including new construction, redevelopment, capital investments, and jobs created or retained within the Kansas City, Missouri city limits. The EDC Marketing/Cornerstone Awards Committee presented the final award on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Union Station where a public vote was tallied to name the People’s Choice Award in Kansas City, Missouri in 2015.EDC_web_960x400_Cornerstone Award
  • The Kansas City Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America awarded the Project of the Year in the $25 million to $50 million category to JE Dunn Construction, for the Leon Mercer Jordan Campus.
