The new North Patrol Division Station is located at 11000 NW Prairie View Road in Kansas City, Missouri, and it is operated as a 24-hour facility. Public areas include a public lobby, front desk, community room, and public restrooms.
The Kansas City Missouri Police Department has replaced the 12,000-square-feet station that was built in 1976 located at 1001 NW Barry Rd. in Kansas City, Missouri.

A new North Patrol Division Station that is similar to the Shoal Creek Division Station was designed and built specifically for the present and future needs of the North Patrol Division. The new station is approximately 25,000 square feet, sits on approximately 15 acres, and includes 115 parking spaces.
Located in the Second District of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, the station is currently completing the construction phase and has a design that is based in consideration of a full range of energy saving options.
The functional needs of North Patrol Division are similar to KCPD’s most recently constructed facility for Metro Patrol Division. The scope for the new North Patrol Division Station project included design, environmental, site-prep, utilities, as well as construction. The new facility design includes:

The Northland of Kansas City is approximately 40% developed at this point, with a strong potential for population growth and commercial development. The North Patrol Division facility has been built with a long-range view of an eventual increase in law enforcement staffing.
The Design Team
The North Patrol Division Station Design Team was led by Treanor Architects, P.A. and its subconsultant team, bringing considerable experience to benefit the City. The City of Kansas City, Missouri and the North Patrol Design Team are working to increase Minority and Women Business Participation. The Treanor Architects Design Team for the project has met and exceeded the total goals for MBE (15%) and WBE (11%) participation, and it is comprised of these firms:

The Public Safety Sales Tax at Work
The Public Safety Sales Tax provides funds for the design and construction of the new North Patrol Division Station. The quarter-cent sales tax renewal means the City of Kansas City, Missouri can complete worthwhile capital improvements, including providing modern facilities for police officers and giving police more tools to investigate crime.
